Deep in the mountainous regions of Nantou County lies Xinyi Township, home to the aboriginal Bunun tribe, Taiwan’s highest peak Yushan, and also the National Taiwan University Experimental Forest. Thanks to Caren for being an NTU student, we had attractive discounts for our accommodation here at the hostel.
